Overview
Not Just a Sauna Brand: Why a Cold Plunge From LeisureCraft Makes Sense
LeisureCraft is better known on this site for cabin saunas like the Georgian Cabin Sauna, but the company runs a five-model cold plunge lineup built from the same Canadian cedar as its saunas. The Flow is the newest and most premium of the five, positioned above the Dundalk Collection's Glacier and Arctic tubs and the Canadian Timber Collection's more accessible Polar and Baltic models.
What Actually Makes Flow Different From LeisureCraft's Other Four Plunge Tubs
Where the Glacier and Arctic let buyers choose between 304 stainless steel or HDPE plastic interiors, the Flow ships exclusively with a premium stainless steel tub. It's also one of three models (alongside Arctic and Baltic) that arrives fully assembled rather than as a kit, so there's no on-site build beyond siting and hookups.
The Concealed Chiller: Real Advantage, Real Trade-Off
The Flow's standout feature is a chiller compartment built directly into the cedar housing — no exposed hoses or equipment sitting next to the tub, unlike a typical bolt-on chiller setup. It's compatible with either the Penguin Chiller or Coldture Pro systems, both capable of cooling water to 37°F (2.8°C) year-round with built-in filtration and Wi-Fi temperature control. The trade-off worth knowing: because the chiller is concealed and built into the structure, chiller-related service access may be less straightforward than an external unit you can simply unplug and swap.
No Listed Price: Why You'll Talk to a Dealer, Not a Checkout Page
LeisureCraft doesn't publish pricing for the Flow anywhere on its site — every path leads to "Request Price" or a spec sheet download, and purchases route through authorized dealers rather than direct checkout. Budget for a sales conversation as part of the buying process, not a straightforward add-to-cart purchase.
Two Warranty Clocks Again: 5 Years on the Tub, Far Less on Whichever Chiller You Choose
LeisureCraft backs the cedar tub structure itself with a 5-year residential limited warranty against manufacturing defects. The chiller is a different story entirely, since it's not LeisureCraft-manufactured: a Coldture Pro chiller carries a 2-year warranty (excluding filters), while a Penguin Chiller carries just 1 year. Whichever chiller you pair with the Flow, don't assume it inherits the tub's 5-year term — it doesn't. All electrical connections must be made by a licensed electrician, and skipping that requirement voids the warranty outright.
Built for Real Winters, With a Real Caveat Below Freezing
LeisureCraft states its cold plunge tubs are built to handle Canadian winters, with cedar naturally resistant to moisture and temperature swings, plus an optional insulated cover to help hold temperature. The caveat: in genuinely freezing conditions (0°C/32°F and below), you need to either drain the tub or keep the chiller actively running to prevent freeze damage — leaving it filled and idle in hard freeze isn't a supported use case. No plumbing is required either way: fill by garden hose, drain via the built-in floor drain. For sequencing this into a full routine, see our Contrast Protocol Builder, and check the LeisureCraft vs. Plunge comparison if you're weighing a cedar-housed chiller tub against a standalone chiller brand.

How to Use
-
Step 1 of 9Request Pricing and Confirm ConfigurationContact a LeisureCraft dealer to get pricing and choose your chiller option (Penguin Chiller or Coldture Pro), since neither is listed at a fixed price online.
-
Step 2 of 9Arrange Electrical WorkHave a licensed electrician handle all electrical connections for your chosen chiller — skipping this step voids the warranty.
-
Step 3 of 9Prepare Your SiteChoose a level outdoor location that can support the tub's weight (575 lbs packaged, more once filled) and allows garden hose access for filling.
-
Step 4 of 9Receive Your Fully Assembled UnitSince the Flow ships fully assembled, plan for delivery logistics and placement rather than an on-site build.
-
Step 5 of 9Fill and Connect the ChillerFill via garden hose and connect your chiller system per its included instructions — no permanent plumbing is required.
-
Step 6 of 9Set Your Target TemperatureUse your chiller's Wi-Fi app control to set a target temperature, typically between 50–59°F for most users, or as low as 37°F for deeper cold exposure.
-
Step 7 of 9PlungeStep in for your session once the tub reaches target temperature.
-
Step 8 of 9Cover Between UsesUse the optional roll-up cover to keep water clean and help retain temperature between sessions.
-
Step 9 of 9Manage Freezing ConditionsIn temperatures at or below 32°F, either drain the tub or keep the chiller actively running to prevent freeze damage — don't leave it filled and idle in a hard freeze.

Cedar housing looks fantastic next to our LeisureCraft sauna, feels like a matched set. We keep the chiller running through the winter rather than draining it, and it's held up through a couple of proper Ontario cold snaps so far. Only wish LeisureCraft was clearer upfront that the chiller warranty is separate and shorter than the tub's — found that out after asking directly rather than reading it plainly on the product page.
Loved that there's no exposed chiller equipment cluttering up the space next to the tub — was the main reason I went with the Flow over a competitor's bolt-on chiller setup. Only friction point was the buying process itself; there's no listed price anywhere, so getting an actual number took a few days of back-and-forth with a dealer. Worth it once installed, and my electrician had no issues wiring in the Coldture Pro chiller.
