My First Winter With an Outdoor Sauna: What I'd Do Differently

Built this in summer and didn't think hard enough about how the door would perform once snow and ice built up around the threshold. Had to retrofit a heated cable along the door sill partway through winter so it would seal properly and not freeze shut.

Also added extra roof insulation after noticing more heat loss through the ceiling than the walls. If I built again I'd spec both of these from the start rather than fixing them after a cold season.
