The Build
Started with a basic storage shed kit instead of a purpose-built sauna kit, mostly because it was half the price. Stripped the interior, added proper insulation and a vapor barrier (this part is not optional, skipping it means your walls will rot from the inside), then lined it with cedar paneling and built benches myself.
The heater and the electrical work were the two things I didn't try to save money on. Everything else was standard shed-building skills.
